Are you a former Deloitte consultant who longs for the familiar Deloitte Tools for PowerPoint? PowerTools is a productivity add-in offering all the features you would expect from a top consulting firm’s PowerPoint tool.
The PowerTools add-in was developed by ex-consultants who were seeking a solution similar to the tools we relied on at major firms. As many of our Deloitte users requested similar features to those from Deloitte Tools, we listened and built them. Below is an overview of some of those features:
Template assets: The PowerTools add-in comes imbedded with hundreds of consulting template slides, editable maps, and icons. Just like at Deloitte, you’ll be able to start your slides from solid templates, saving you tons of time.
Copy-paste position: This feature is a game changer when you want the same object (e.g., title, subtitle, breadcrumbs) on many slides to have the same position. That way, those slide elements won’t dance around when flipping through your presentation, they’ll stay fixed.
Swap position: This might be the feature that Deloitte alumni ask for the most when leaving the firm. PowerTools lets you swaps the positions of 2 selected objects, making it easy to replace an object with another. For example, when you want to change a picture for another one, you can add the new one, select both, and then click Swap position.
Same size: PowerTools’ Match to first feature is similar to Deloitte Tools’ Same size. This is for when you want your first selected shape’s size to be applied to the later-selected shapes. However, Match to first is more powerful than Deloitte’s Same size, because it also lets you decide whether you want to match shape’s formatting, text attributes, and position; not only the size.
Select similar: You’ll know the Select similar tool is a real timer saver if you’ve ever used Deloitte’s add-in. Select a reference object and use tool to select multiple other objects on the slide that match a specific property of the first (e.g., outline color). You can now make sweeping edits to all these similar objects.
Harvey balls and status indicators: PowerTools helps you add Harvey Balls or Status indicators (e.g., stop lights or battery indicators) to your slides. You can easily change the percentage of those indicators, even after they are already added to a slide.
Straighten lines: When right clicking on any line, PowerTools will prompt you to straighten it vertically or horizontally.
This is just a small subset of the features that you’ll find in PowerTools and, we keep on adding more whenever we get customer requests. If you’re a Deloitte alumni and are yearning for the best PowerPoint tools, contact us and we’ll be more than happy to help you out.
