Note: Our release notes previously followed a rigid structure of “New”, “Improvements”, and “Fixes” categories. Starting with this release, we are adopting a more flexible format that better reflects the nature of each update’s changes. This allows us to present information in the most relevant and clear way for each release.
Platform Compatibility Improvements
Mac Version Updates
We have improved platform compatibility messaging for tools not yet available in the Mac version. Users will now receive clear notifications when attempting to use features that are currently Windows-only, rather than experiencing silent failures.
The following tools are currently available only on Windows, with Mac support planned for future releases:
- Agenda Manager
- Bulk Format Wizard
- Cleaning Tools (Remove and Align)
- Insert/Fix Footnote
Windows-Specific Updates
- Fixed functionality of the Insert QR Code feature
- Implemented a complete rework of the Footnote tool, enabling cross-session footnote persistence (Mac support coming in next release)
Feature Enhancements
Header Tools Improvements
The following tools now support multiple header insertions when multiple objects are selected:
- Header Bar
- Header Box
- I-Bar
Note: To insert a single header above multiple objects, simply group the objects before using the tool.
User Interface Improvements
- Removed redundant license verification popup, replacing it with debug messaging
- Added clear platform compatibility messages for most features
- Note: Toolbox and Bulk Format features still require updated compatibility messaging, as these tools are partially functional for some Mac users
Bug Fixes
- Resolved Select Similar tool error affecting some users
Documentation
- Updated documentation for all modified tools
- Added new multi-header functionality documentation for Header Bar, Header Box, and I-Bar tools
Note: Our development team is actively working to bring full feature parity to the Mac version in future releases.
